About Wynne Llewellyn

I was born and grew up in North Wales. Now I live in the beautiful countryside of western Massachusetts. I am a member of Northampton Monthly Meeting (New England Yearly Meeting)

When my partner and I were looking for a calligrapher to create a marriage certificate for us, I was fortunate enough to find Suzanne Moore. Suzanne created a beautiful document for us, and I found that she not only lived near me, but also gave classes in calligraphy locally. I studied with Suzanne Moore for several years.

After a while, I began to create marriage certificates for members of my own Meeting. Over the years, I have worked with couples all over the country, some Quakers, some not. I have enjoyed meeting them all, whether in person or by phone or by e-mail. It is a joy to work with people at such a happy time in their lives.

I have also developed the idea of the “naming document.” This is a document which I design in consultation with the parent/s of a newborn child. This document, like the marriage certificate, can include the signatures of family and friends.
